Institute of Czech Studies
The Institute of Czech Studies at the Faculty of Arts of the University of South Bohemia is considered to be a prestigious Czech Studies institute due to its scientific results. The staffing of the Institute guarantees its students a high level of education in the areas of education provided.
The Institute holds an accreditation for Bachelor's programmes in Czech Studies and a Bachelor's programme in Czech Studies, consecutive Master's degree programmes in Czech Studies and in Teacher Training for Upper Secondary Schools in Czech Language and Literature, Doctoral degree programme Czech Language and Doctoral degree programme in History of Newer Czech Literature. The Institute supports its students in student activities and enables them to participate in its important scientific tasks. Students are also offered the opportunity to spend part of their studies abroad at one of the partner universities (Glasgow, Vienna, Dresden, Berlin, Opole, Krakow, Padova ...)
- The Institute of Czech Studies is also entitled to hold Advanced Master's examinations in the field of Czech language and Literature. In cooperation with the Faculty of Education USB, it participates in Teacher Training for Lower Secondary Schools in Czech Language and Literature.
